Dhaba style paneer is also one of the favorite vegetable of many people. Paneer curry full of dhaba flavor enhances the taste of lunch or dinner. Ingredients to make Dhaba Style Paneer
Paneer cubes – 1.5 cup
Tomato grated – 3
Curd – 1/2 cup
Gram flour – 2 tbsp
Onion finely chopped – 3
Garlic – 6-4 buds
Green chili – 3-4
Green coriander – 2 tbsp
Dry red chili – 2-3
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chili – 1 tbsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp Desi ghee – 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Bay leaf – 1
Cinnamon – 1 big piece
Green cardamom – 3
Ginger chopped – 1/2 tsp
Cloves – 4-5
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Coriander seeds – 1 tsp
Kasuri fenugreek – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
salt – as per taste
Dhaba Style Paneer Recipe
To make Dhaba Style Paneer, first cut the paneer in equal square shape. Now take a bowl and put paneer pieces in it, add 2 pinches of turmeric, garam masala, red chili powder and a little salt, mix and let the paneer pieces marinate. Now put 2 spoons of desi ghee in the pan and heat it. When the ghee melts, add marinated paneer pieces to it and fry while stirring for 2 minutes. After this take them out.
Now take another pan and heat it by adding 2 spoons of oil and 1 spoon of ghee. After some time add cumin, cinnamon, ground cardamom and other whole spices and fry them. When the spices start to smell, add finely chopped onions to it and fry while stirring until the onions turn soft and light golden. After this, fry ginger pieces and cloves in the pan.
After roasting the mixture for some time, add 2 tbsp gram flour and all other spices and mix it. After roasting on low flame for some time, add grated tomatoes and salt as per taste to the pan. Now cover the pan and cook the gravy till the oil starts leaving. Meanwhile, cook the gravy by adding 3-4 tbsp of water. Add curd to the gravy while cooking on low flame, mix and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

When the gravy starts boiling, add garam masala and kasoori fenugreek to it. You can cook it by adding more water to the gravy as per requirement. Finally add fried paneer pieces to the gravy and turn off the gas after adding finely chopped coriander. Allow paneer to marinate with gravy for some time, then serve hot with roti, paratha or naan.
