A case of love jihad has come to light in Sitamarhi. A Muslim boy posing as a Hindu lured a girl from Gorakhpur into the trap of love through social media and after keeping her in a hotel for three days, tried to sell her in the red light area. The accused youth is a resident of Rajopatti locality of Sitamarhi district while the girl is a resident of Gorakhpur.
Both came closer through social media
It is being told that the accused youth befriended a minor girl on Instagram and trapped her in the trap of love by pretending to be a Hindu. After this, he was tricked and called from Gorakhpur to Patna on the pretext of getting treatment. Then, took him to Sitamarhi. Kept in a hotel there. After keeping her in the hotel for three days, did dirty work with her. When the girl realized that she had fallen into the trap of the wrong people, she tried to run away from the hotel.
When people saw the girl crying, the matter came to light.
While running away the boy Mohd. Anish kept following him. By then, seeing the girl crying on the road, the local people informed the team of Bachpan Bachao Andolan. Not only this, the local police was also informed about this. By then the boy also followed her and reached there and both the girl and the boy were taken into police custody. During counseling at the women’s police station, the girl told how she was lured into the trap of love by pretending to be a Hindu and did wrong things with her. Not only this, he was also forcibly given intoxicating tablets. Let us tell you that the accused youth was also beaten up by the local people.
Was trying to sell the girl in red light area
In this case, on the instructions of Sitamarhi SP, a case has been registered against the accused youth under the POCSO Act in the women’s police station of Sitamarhi and the police is busy preparing to send the girl to her home after counselling. It is being told that the accused youth was planning to lure the girl and sell her in the red light area of Sitamarhi. In this case, ASP Manoj Ram said that after receiving the information, Bachpan Bachao team came to know that a girl was lured here and an incident of rape was carried out. In this case, the police took prompt action and recovered the girl and are taking further action.
