Luxury perfume launched for dogs, debate started, question raised, will dogs like its fragrance!

It can be a matter of debate whether pet dogs should be a luxury or not! While many people think that the rich should avoid spending extravagantly on pet dogs, many people believe that it is their money and they have the right to decide how they spend their money. The launch of a new luxury perfume has fuelled this debate. Recently, a reputed Italian brand has launched a new luxury perfume for dogs. Some experts have expressed doubts whether the dogs will like it or not!

Owners will have to shell out around Rs 9,000 for this fragrance created by Dolce & Gabbana’s flash designer. The Italian fashion house has described Fefe’s fragrance as a “masterpiece”. The spray is named after the brand’s co-founder Domenico Dolce’s pet Pomeranian. D&G said the fragrance has been approved by veterinarians, enjoyed by dogs and has been safety tested.

There are many similar products available on the market, including up-market options in the $100-a-bottle range. But Fefe is the first product released by an established seller of luxury goods for humans. According to Forbes, the pet industry has boomed in recent years, with spending set to reach $303 billion in 2023, up 16 per cent from 2022.

Fefe sounds like a fun whimsical product. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals told The Guardian that buyers should consider their pup’s sensitive nose before slathering them in expensive canine cologne.
