Actually the actress we are talking about is none other than Madhurima Tuli.
Madhurima was born in Odisha and hails from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She won the Miss Uttaranchal competition in college. After winning this title, Madhurima entered the entertainment world.
Madhurima Tuli started her acting career with the Telugu film ‘Satta’. She was seen with Sai Kiran in this film. After this, she worked in many more South films.
After earning fame in the South, Madhurima moved to Mumbai and then she took acting training from Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School here.
During this time, Madhurima also modeled for many famous brands and did many ads. After this, she entered the small screen and made her TV debut with the serial Kasturi. In this serial, she was seen with Karan Patel. After this, Madhurima did many hit serials on TV, including Shree, Jhansi Ki Rani, Rang Badalti Odhani, Kumkum Bhagya and many other serials.
After this, Madhurima acted in the show Chandrakanta-Ek Mayavi Prem Katha. This serial made her a television star and gave her recognition in every household.
Then Madhurima Tuli entered Bollywood. She made her Bollywood debut by playing a small role in Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’. After this, she worked in ‘Cigarette Ki Tarah’, ‘Warning’ and many other Bollywood films. In the year 2015, she played the role of Akshay Kumar’s wife in ‘Baby’. Later Madhurima also appeared in a small role in ‘Naam Shabana’. However, despite doing many films, Madhurima could not get recognition in Bollywood.
Madhurima Tuli worked in the Hollywood film ‘The Black Prince’ alongside Amanda Root, Jason Flemyng and Keith Duffy, Shabana Azmi and Sartaj Singh. The actress played the role of young Shabana Azmi in the film.
When her career in films did not work out, Madhurima again turned to the small screen and appeared in Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss 13 with her ex-boyfriend Vishal Singh. During her stay in the show, Madhurima and Vishal Aditya Singh had a lot of fights.
When Vishal threw water on Madhurima’s face on the show, the actress angrily attacked Vishal with a frying pan. After this, she was asked to leave the show.
Speaking to ETimes, Madhurima had revealed that after the incident, she lost work and said, “Ek hota hai na… there is a perception that forms among people who don’t know you, that she is negative and let’s not cast her. Well, it happened. Like, there were a few shows I would have done but the channel interfered. I still feel how can you throw water on someone’s face?” Madhurima has done just one music video since the incident and is away from the industry.
