Muturam, who came from Madurai in Tamil Nadu, started serving South Indian cuisine 25 years ago at a cart in front of Kalibari, Gorakhpur. After reaching the shop, we met M. Shekhar. Shekhar says that, 25, 30 years ago his father Muturam started South Indian cuisine here. At that time people used to like the South Indian food made by their hands very much. That cycle continued and today Muturam’s son M Shekhar has taken over the responsibility. However, now the name of the shop has been changed to Durga Dosa Corner. At the same time, Shekhar has increased the variety of idli and uttapam along with dosa at the shop.
