In the latest interview given to Free Press Journal, Smita spoke openly about her estranged husband Nitish Bhardwaj and made some shocking revelations. Smita said, “Nitish wanted me to leave my job, when I did not agree, he asked for divorce. And, when I was ready for divorce, he asked for money for the divorce with consent, which I refused and then he started playing the victim card.

Earlier, Nitish had accused his wife of not allowing him to meet his daughters Devyani and Shivranjani. However, during the interview, Smita claimed that her estranged husband was trying to play the victim card as he had recently met their daughters. He told, “On February 13, 2024, Nitish Bhardwaj deliberately avoided meeting the children.
