Mahakumbh 2025: Mahakumbh, the great festival of faith, is being organized in Prayagraj from 13th January. There will be a gathering of sages, saints, devotees and Kalpavasis here for a month.

Haridwar Mahakumbh – Mahakumbh is organized in Haridwar when the planet Jupiter is in Aquarius and the Sun transits in Aries, then the Mahakumbh fair is organized in Haridwar. Mahakumbh took place in Haridwar in 2021 and now it will take place in 2033.
Ujjain Mahakumbh – Kumbh Mela is celebrated in Ujjain when Jupiter enters Leo and the Sun enters Aries. Kumbh of Ujjain is also called Simhanstha. Simhanstha will be held in Ujjain in 2028.
Nashik Mahakumbh – When Jupiter and Sun enter Leo, this great Kumbh Mela is celebrated in Nashik, Maharashtra. Apart from this, if Jupiter, Sun and Moon all three enter Cancer and also it is the time of Amavasya, then Kumbh is celebrated in Nashik only. Mahakumbh will be held in Nashik in 2027.
