How can one get the benefit of this scheme?
Under the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Scheme of the Maharashtra Government, the government bears the entire expense of visiting pilgrimage sites for people of 60 years of age and above. To avail the benefits of the scheme, the beneficiary must be a native of Maharashtra. None of the men or women availing the benefits should be former government employees. The applicant should not be an income tax payer. The annual income of the family should be less than Rs 2.50 lakh. To avail the benefits of the scheme, you will have to apply online.
