In an interview to Bollywood Bubble, Mahir said, “As actors, everything cannot be hidden in our life, but we like to keep some things private, but we do not have the right. This happens with all actors. If they have dinner or lunch with someone or are spotted, then the news of their affair gets covered. Even the couple does not know anything and the date of their marriage starts appearing. That’s why you don’t want such drama. I believe it is her preference, if she wants to keep her personal life private then it is her decision. She has a boyfriend, about whom the whole country knows that even Salman Khan has said the same.”

When Maahir was asked if he and Nimrit were dating, Maahir said that he wants to keep his personal life private. He also said that he respects the decision of Nimrit who does not want to reveal her relationship openly. Mahir Pandhi told that he met Nimrit during a mock test. He said, “We met for the first time when the lens got stuck in his eye. He wore color lenses for the first time. I had a lot of experience with the lens because I used to use it. I helped him and taught him how to wear the lenses. That’s how our friendship started.”
