‘Maidan’ is the biopic of the country’s very famous football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. Ajay Devgan has played the lead role in the film. The story of the film and Ajay’s strong acting are being praised a lot. However, the film earned a total of only Rs 7.10 crore after paid preview on Wednesday and theatrical release on Thursday. The film failed to beat the first day earnings (15.50 crores) of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan.
On the second day of advance booking of the film, 26 thousand 795 tickets were pre-sold, after which ‘Maidan’ has collected Rs 56.1 lakh in advance booking. Now the initial figures of earnings of the second day of the release of ‘Maidan’ have arrived.
