Makar Sankranti 2023: The festival of Makar Sankranti is being celebrated across the country today. This festival is one of the main festivals of Hindus. It has different names in different states. A fair is organized here on the occasion of Sankranti and it is also said that by taking a dip in the Ganges one gets freedom from all sins.
