Method of preparation

  • First of all, boil the milk in a heavy bottom vessel. When the milk comes to a boil, reduce the flame and let it cook till it thickens. Keep stirring in between so that the milk does not stick to the bottom of the vessel.
  • When the milk is reduced to half, add sugar to it and mix well. Then add condensed milk and mix well. Let it cook for some more time, until it thickens.
  • Now peel the ripe mangoes and grind their pulp in the mixer. Add the mango paste to the milk mixture and mix well.
  • Add cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits to this mixture. Mix well again.
  • Now let this mixture cool down. After cooling, pour it into kulfi molds or any other small container and freeze it in the freezer for 6-8 hours.
  • When the kulfi is well frozen, remove it from the mold and serve it garnished with chopped dry fruits.

Tips
If you like it sweeter, you can increase the amount of sugar.
To remove the kulfi from the mold easily, you can put the mold in hot water for a few seconds.
