Ingredients for Soya Dal Paratha
Moong Dal – half cup
Soya chunks – half cup
Flour – one cup
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Cumin – half a teaspoon
salt – as per taste
Ajwain – half a teaspoon
water as needed

How to make Soya Dal Paratha
To make this nutritious paratha, first of all you have to soak moong dal in water for 2 hours. Also soak soya chunks in water. Now take flour in a vessel. Add salt, ghee, celery to it and mix. Add water and knead it soft. Leave it covered. Now drain all the water from the soaked moong dal properly. Filter water from soya chunks as well. Now put moong dal and soya chunks in a blender and make a smooth paste. If it is too tight, you can also add a little water. Cook a little ghee, asafoetida, whole cumin seeds in a pan. Now add the paste of moong dal, soya chunks and stir it well. After one to two minutes, add red chili powder, turmeric, salt and fry it. Cook it while stirring until the water present in it dries up.

Now make small balls of the kneaded dough. Take a ball and fill it with the mixture prepared from soya chunks and moong dal.
