Ingredients for making Khandvi
Gram flour – 100 grams
Curd – 1 cup
Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
Grated raw coconut – 1 tbsp
Green coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
Curry leaves – 4-5
Green chili chopped – 2
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
salt – as per taste
How to make Khandvi
To make Khandvi full of taste, first of all sieve gram flour in a utensil. After this, add curd in another bowl and whisk it well and make it smooth. After this add curd to the gram flour and mix it properly. After this prepare the batter by adding 2 cups of water to this solution. Then add turmeric, ginger paste and salt as per taste and mix everything with the solution.
Now put a pan on medium flame and put gram flour solution in it. After this, while stirring with a big spoon, cook the gram flour solution. When the batter of gram flour starts getting thick, reduce the flame of the gas. After this, cook the gram flour solution for 8-10 more minutes. During this, keep stirring it in between. In this time, the solution of Khandvi will thicken properly.

Now take a tray and spread the prepared solution of Khandvi in it. Keep in mind that the solution has to be spread thinly. If the solution is too much, pour it in different trays and spread it. After this, leave the tray like this for 10 minutes so that the solution cools down and sets. After this, with the help of a knife, cut 2 inch wide and about 6 inch long strips of frozen layer. Then take each strip and make a roll out of it and keep it separately in a plate.
After this, put oil in a small pan and heat it. After the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and chopped green chillies and temper it. Now pour this tempering over the khandvi and spread it well. Tasty khandvi is ready. Sprinkle grated coconut over it and serve as a snack.
