Onion Paratha Ingredients
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Onion – 2
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Ghee – 4 tsp
Green chili – 2
Green coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
salt – as per taste

Onion Paratha Recipe
Flavorful Onion Paratha is a perfect recipe for breakfast. To make this, first cut the onion in thin and long shape. After this, add celery, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, green coriander and all other spices to the onion, mix well and cover and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Now sieve the wheat flour in a vessel and add 1 teaspoon ghee/oil to it and knead the dough while adding water little by little.

After kneading the dough, make balls out of it and first take one ball and roll it like a roti, and then take out a little mixture from the prepared onion stuffing and place it in the center of the roti, close it from all sides and roll it again. Keep in mind that the paratha should not be too thin. Let it remain slightly thick while rolling.

Now heat a nonstick pan on medium heat. After the griddle is hot, pour some ghee on it and spread it all around, then put the rolled paratha to roast. After roasting for a while, flip the paratha and apply ghee on the top. Flip the paratha again after some time. Similarly, roast the paratha till it turns golden brown from both the sides. Now take out the paratha in a plate. Following the same process, prepare all the onion parathas one by one. Tasty onion paratha is ready for breakfast. It can be served with chutney, sauce or curd.
