Ingredients for making potato curry
Potato – 3
Onion – 1
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Rai – 1/2 tsp
Garlic chopped – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Green chili chopped – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
salt – as per taste
Potato Vegetable Recipe
To make potato curry full of taste, first peel the potatoes and then wash them in clean water and cut them into small pieces. After this, remove the upper peel of the onion and cut it into fine pieces. Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric, chopped garlic and green chillies and fry for a few seconds. After this, add chopped onions and mix with spices and fry while stirring.
After cooking while stirring for 2-3 minutes, the onion will become soft and look light pink. After this, put potato pieces in the pan and mix them well with the help of a spoon. Potatoes have to be cooked till they become soft. If you want to make gravy vegetable, then you can mix some water in it. After this add some red chili powder and salt as per taste to the vegetable and fry while stirring.
Turn off the gas after cooking the vegetable for 2 minutes. After this, garnish with green coriander leaves on top. Tasty potato curry is ready even without tomatoes. It can be served with roti or paratha.
