How to Make traditional Italian lasagna at home: Lasagna is a traditional Italian dish made mainly of layered pasta, meat sauce, cheese and tomato based sauce. It is believed to have originated from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, but today this dish has become popular all over the world. Today it can be made in many flavors and styles. You can make flavourful lasagna at home also. If you are a fan of Italian food then definitely make this recipe at home once. According to taste, you can make slight changes in its recipe and can also make it in vegetarian form.
Lasagna Recipe-
Material:
Lasagna Sheets – 9-12 sheets
Minced meat (chicken or mushroom) – 500 grams
Tomato Sauce- 2 cups
Olive oil- 2 tbsp
Chopped Onion – 1 medium size
Chopped Garlic – 2-3 cloves
Mixed herbs- 1 tsp (oregano, basil, thyme)
Cheese (Mozzarella and Parmesan) – 1-1.5 cups
Bechamel Sauce (White Sauce) – 1 cup
Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
First of all, heat olive oil in a pan and fry onion and garlic in it. Now add chicken, mushrooms etc. in it and let it cook for 8-10 minutes. After this add tomato sauce, herbs, salt and black pepper. Let it cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes. Now heat butter in a pan and add flour to it and fry it lightly. Gradually add milk, stir and make a thick sauce.
You will need a baking dish for lasagna. To make its layer, apply a layer of tomato sauce at the bottom of the baking dish, then place the lasagna sheets. Now make a layer each of meat sauce, white sauce and cheese. Do this until everything is finished.

Now put the baking dish in a pre-heated oven to bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes. Gradually the cheese will start melting from above and will start appearing golden. Now you can take it out. Hot lasagna is ready. You cut it and serve it. You can also make it in a vegetarian way.
