After talks, the date of May 10 has been fixed for this. After this decision of Muizzu, relations between the two countries have continuously deteriorated. In India too, a campaign was launched on social media to boycott Maldives. Now the situation between the two countries does not seem to be improving. Earlier in 2021, India Out Campaign was started in Maldives under the leadership of Abdullah Yameen. During this time people had written slogans against India outside their homes.
