Mallikarjun Kharge Targets Central Govt: The memorial of 1962 war hero Major Shaitan Singh has been demolished due to the buffer zone created on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has reacted regarding this. Taking aim at the government, he said that by demolishing the memorial of Shaitan Singh, BJP has once again given proof to the country of being a fake patriot.
He said that the news of the demolition of the memorial in Chushul, Ladakh of Major Shaitan Singh, the brave son of Mother India, awarded with Param Vir Chakra and the great hero of the 1962 Rezang-La war, is extremely painful.
He launched a scathing attack on the Prime Minister in a poetic style and said, “You turned a blind eye to China, insulted every drop of sacrifice of the brave men!” Kharge said that according to reports, has this been done because after talks with China, the buffer zone has now come within Indian territory?
