In Shahjahanpur, his wife Sajda (35 years) was beaten to death by Afroz, a resident of Mohalla Kakra in Sadar Bazar area. After the incident, the accused ran away with three children by putting a quilt over the dead body. Information was found on the elder daughter’s house in the morning. The police have taken the accused into custody.

The laborer, Afroz lived in a rented house in Kakra with wife Sajda and four children. Sana, a 12 -year -old daughter, works in a person’s house in the locality. On Sunday night, Afroz came home drunk. There was a dispute with his wife over drinking alcohol. Angry, Afroz beat his wife. Sajda fell unconscious after hitting his head on the wall. He died on the spot. After this, the accused ran away with two sons and daughter by putting a quilt over the dead body.

When the daughter Sana returned from work at 11 am on Monday morning, the house was found empty. Mother Sajda did not get any response from inside. When he removed the quilt and saw the mother found dead. CO City Pankaj Pant said that preliminary investigation has revealed death due to head injury. A report has been lodged against the accused on mother Shaira’s Tahrir.
