In Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the daily quarrel between brothers took a bloody turn on Tuesday morning. The younger brother shot dead his elder brother and niece with his licensed gun. After the incident, the accused fled with his family. The incident took place just two hundred meters away from the police station. Angry with the negligence of the police, the family members blocked the Nigohi-Bisalpur road by placing the dead body.

Shripal (50) and his younger brother Guddu Rathore lived next to each other in Adarshnagar of Nigohi police station area. Both of them had a crusher. There was a quarrel in their families almost every day over some issue or the other. Sometimes both the parties clashed over the customers coming to the crusher and sometimes there was a quarrel over the possession of the land outside the house.
On Monday also both the parties came face to face. After the fight both the parties reached the police station. Police made one person from each side sit in the police station. On Tuesday morning at six o’clock both the brothers started fighting again. After the quarrel and scuffle the younger brother Guddu brought his licensed gun and started firing.
Shripal was hit by two bullets and died on the spot. Shripal’s daughter Saraswati (20) was also hit by a bullet and fell down bleeding. The family rushed her to the CHC but the doctor declared her dead.
