Along with taking online complaints in the State Information Commission, soon on the lines of High Court, allocation of cases among the members and hearing of cases will also be done online. With the new team taking over the work, the process in this direction has accelerated. At the same time, for disposal of old cases, a revised order for distribution of work among the Information Commissioners has also been issued.
A new software related to complaint and appeal tracking system has been started in the Commission from January 5. Under this, arrangements are being made for e-filing of complaints and second appeals, hearing of complaints in hybrid mode (online and offline) as per the option given by the appellant. There are preparations in the Commission to make allotment and hearing of cases online on the lines of the High Court. For this, work allocation order will be issued separately.
At the same time, the work allocation issued a week ago has been amended to settle the promises so far. According to this, Chief Information Commissioner Dr. Rajkumar Vishwakarma has 17 departments including Governor’s Secretariat, Chief Minister’s Office and Public Grievance Office, Chief Secretary, Home, Administrative Reforms, Appointment, Personnel, Medical Education and three commissions, Lokayukta Office, High Court, all judges.
