Because one mango contains about 15 grams of carbohydrates and it is recommended to take only 30 grams of carbohydrates daily from fruits. Each mango has different amounts of sweetness. Some mangoes have less sweetness than others, while some have more.

Consuming mango, the king of fruits, can prove beneficial for patients suffering from diabetes, provided they consume it properly. You can use it if your blood sugar and potassium levels are within limits. Diabetes patients should consume mango in less quantity. The best way to eat mango is to cut the mango and eat it by taking out the pulp directly from the peel. This is because when we eat mangoes in this manner, our mouth starts digesting the carbohydrates using an enzyme in the saliva called salivary amylase.

How many mangoes are right to eat?

Eating mango directly from the peel gives its rich taste. However, when we consume mangoes in the form of mango shake or mango juice, there is a danger of overconsumption. Because the juice of many mangoes is mixed in a glass of mango juice. Diabetes patients should avoid consuming more than half of mangoes daily. If your blood sugar and potassium levels are high, then consume mangoes only after consulting a doctor. Mango can be eaten after morning walk, after workout and in between meals.
