Fennel seeds – 1/4 cup
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Kalonji – 1/2 tsp (optional)
Rai kuti – 2 tbsp
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 2 tsp
Mustard oil – 1 cup
Salt – as needed
