Manish Tiwari on Rahul Gandhi as Leader of Opposition: Narendra Modi is going to take oath as the Prime Minister of the country for the third time, so now the discussion has started regarding the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha. Congress leaders want Rahul Gandhi to become the leader of the opposition. Congress MP from Chandigarh Manish Tewari has expressed his opinion on this. Manish Tewari said that Rahul Gandhi has breathed life into the Congress. It would be appropriate that he becomes the leader of the opposition.
Manish Tiwari said in a conversation with ABP News, “Rahul Gandhi has done a lot of work in five years. Bharat Jodo Yatra has given life to Congress. It would be appropriate if he becomes the leader of opposition. But the meeting that is happening today is for the chairperson of CPP. It has been the tradition of Congress that the chairperson appoints the leader of opposition. The same tradition will be followed this time as well.”
At the same time, Manish Tiwari said about the performance of BJP, “If we look at this entire election in a perspective, NDA has got 294 seats. Congress has won 99 seats on its own. An independent candidate in Maharashtra has supported Congress, so we have reached the figure of 100. From a moral point of view, this is BJP’s defeat. The public has rejected the policies of NDA. In democracy, whoever has the numbers forms the government. Narendra Modi Will take oath for the third time.

Ego has negative consequences- Manish Tiwari
PM Modi had said in the NDA parliamentary party meeting that BJP has won more seats in this election than the total seats won by Congress in 2014, 2019 and 2024 elections combined. Regarding this, Manish Tiwari said, “There is no cure for arrogance. If any person shows arrogance, the result is negative.
The biggest implication is that in 2024, the same South Asian leaders are coming who came in 2014. The one who is not coming is the PM of Pakistan. The evaluation is about who is coming for the swearing-in ceremony. If the same people are coming who came in 2014, then what have you achieved above the diplomatic level in 10 years.
