Heavy shopping during Navratri

The dullness prevailing in the market in Bareilly was removed by the business done on Shardiya Navratri. Customers flocked to purchase automobiles, bullion, electronics, groceries and worship materials. Businessmen have estimated a turnover of around Rs 80 crore, 25 per cent more than last year.
According to traders, this year the attractive range of cars attracted a lot of customers. The high price of electric cars and unavailability of charging points became a hindrance in sales. Hybrid cars sold well. There was also a jump in the sales of bikes. There was a turnover of about Rs 40 crore in the automobile sector. According to real estate businessman Atul Mishra, house warming was also celebrated on Navratri. There were 40 house warmings in his project. The same situation prevailed with other real estate traders also.
Sales of geysers, heaters and blowers also started
In view of the changing nature of weather, there was a demand in the market for equipment to provide relief from winter. According to businessman Neeraj Arora, the market has started rising since this Navratri. Good business is expected in future also. Generally, the demand for geysers, heaters, blowers, washing machines is less during Navratri, but this time buyers are arriving already. Hence, a business of around Rs 5 crore was done in the district.
