The girl’s name is Shivani, who was to be married on February 16 at Doodh Talai in Khandwa. She had come to her maternal uncle’s house before marriage, where she met with a horrific accident 3 days before marriage, the girl suffered a fracture in her right arm and leg, after which she was admitted to the hospital. The marriage did not take place on the 16th, but the groom Rajendra, a resident of Ujjain, reached the nursing home on the day of Shivratri with a procession, where he duly married the bride. The video of this incident went viral on social media.
