The body of a married woman was found under a culvert near the cooperative fertilizer warehouse in Ahugi Kala village of Halia police station area of Mirzapur district. The married woman was murdered by slitting her throat. The police reached the spot after getting the information and identified the body. The Superintendent of Police along with ASP dog squad and forensic team reached the spot and investigated.

Suman, a resident of Songarha village of the police station area, was married six years ago. At present, she was living in her maternal home in Ahugi Kala village. On Saturday morning, the body of a (27) married woman was found under a culvert near the cooperative fertilizer warehouse. The villagers saw the body and informed the police. The police reached the spot and investigated. The married woman was murdered by slitting her throat. The family members who reached the spot identified the body as Suman.
Superintendent of Police Abhinandan reached the spot along with ASP Operation OP Singh, dog squad and forensic team and investigated. Superintendent of Police Abhinandan said that investigation has been done. Prima facie investigation has revealed that the married woman has been murdered. The family members have expressed suspicion on some people. They have been taken into custody and investigation is being done.
