A married youth from a different community has been accused of raping a four-year-old girl in East Delhi’s Pandav Nagar area. It is alleged that the girl had come to the young man on Saturday evening for tuition. During this time, taking advantage of the opportunity, he tried to rape the girl. The girl’s condition is out of danger and she is undergoing treatment at AIIMS hospital. The police is getting his medical examination done. There is a lot of anger among the people nearby due to this incident. The situation in the area remains very tense.
Inspector Sanjay Gupta told Amar Ujala that the accused youth has been arrested. A case has been registered against him under relevant sections including POCSO Act. He said that the police will make efforts to provide justice to the victim at every level. According to the information, the young man is married and has children, but after getting the opportunity, he carried out such a shameful incident.

A large number of people gathered around the victim’s house. A huge crowd surrounded the house of the accused and started appealing for strict action against them. More than 200 policemen reached the spot and are trying to calm the situation. Delhi Police is trying to pacify the crowd.
