The price of Maruti Celerio in the Indian market starts from Rs 5 lakh 36 thousand to Rs 7 lakh 4 thousand ex-showroom. Whereas the price of Tata Tiago ranges between Rs 5 lakh to Rs 7 lakh ex-showroom, which is available in 6 variants.
Maruti Celerio powertrain and mileage
This compact hatchback car has a 1-litre petrol engine, which generates 67 PS of power and 89 Nm of torque. It has 5-speed manual transmission and 5-speed AMT transmission. In its CNG version, this engine comes only with 5-speed manual transmission and it generates power of 56.7PS and torque of 82 Nm. In which a 60 liter CNG tank is available.
The petrol variant of Maruti Celerio gives a mileage of around 26 km per liter while the CNG variant gives a mileage of around 34 km per kg. It has features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, AC vents and music controls.
Tata Tiago powertrain
Tata Tiago hatchback also has CNG facility with 1.2-litre petrol engine. Its petrol model offers 20kmpl and CNG model 28 km/kg mileage. In this car you get seating arrangement for 5 people. Talking about the engine of the car, the car has a 1.2 liter engine which generates power of 73hp and torque of 95nm in CNG mode. 5 speed manual transmission gearbox has been used in the engine.
Tiago comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, digital driver display, 8-speaker sound system and automatic climate control. Along with this, boot space of 242-litre capacity is available. Talking about safety features, it also has the facility of dual airbags, ABS with EBD, TMPS with rear parking sensor.
