First of all take paneer. If you do not want to fry, then put some salt in this lukewarm water. Take it out after keeping it for a while. If you want to fry it, then fry it in oil or ghee for a while. Remember, fry only so much that the paneer gets coated. Do not fry for long. Now start making gravy. Take a good pan for this. Put ghee or oil in it and put cinnamon in it. After this add some raw coriander seeds. Along with this, add dry red chillies to it. If you want spicy, then add green chillies to it. After this add ginger-garlic. Let it fry for a minute or two. After that add chopped onions. Do not fry the onions completely. Let it cook on low flame till it turns golden brown. After two-three minutes, add chopped tomatoes to it. If you want, you can add cashew or melon seed paste to it. Although this is not necessary. After this let it cook for 6 to 7 minutes. Now your masala is ready.

Now let these spices cool down and grind them in a mixie. After grinding the spices, clean the same pan and put it on the gas. Now add ghee or oil to it. When it becomes hot, add cumin, bay leaves, cloves and Kashmiri chili. After this add coriander powder, turmeric powder and cumin powder. If you want, add a little gram flour along with it. After this fry it well. After roasting, add the spices we have prepared. Let it cook for a while. After this add the water that is in the mixie. Now cook it well till it becomes thick. You can add salt to it at this time. After cooking well, reduce the flame of the gas and put kasoori fenugreek in it. After this add cooked peas to it. If there is no cooked peas, then first boil it in water and cook it. After this put it in the gravy. Now add paneer in the gravy in the final stage. Now cook for one to two minutes. After this add half teaspoon garam masala and coriander leaves. If you want to make it extra creamy, you can add cream to it. Your hot Matar-Paneer is ready. Share it with the family in dinner.
