Maulana Sheikh Ali Zaid On Yoga Day: Maulana Sheikh Ali Zaid, who spreads hatred in Maldives, has spewed venom against India’s origin Yoga. Opposing the celebration of Yoga Day across the world, Maulana said that if the Hindu Sun God is not worshipped in Yoga, then it is just an exercise. Along with this, Maulana also said that the Yoga of Hindus is against the Monotheism of Islam. That is why Muslims should not do Yoga. But, he does not stop spewing venom here.
Maulana even said that permission to practice yoga should not be given in an Islamic country. Maulana Sheikh Zaid, after celebrating International Yoga Day at the Indian High Commission in Male, posted an article advising Muslims not to get involved in yoga but to do exercise instead.
Maulana Sheikh Ali Zaid spoke against yoga
Sheikh Zaid wrote in his post that yoga is yoga because it also includes spirituality, which is connected to the Sun God. That is why we say that do not do yoga but exercise. It is better not to study in the name of this Yoga Day. Not only this, he said that celebrating Yoga Day in the Indian High Commission is a trap. Some people say that Maulana is calling yoga an exercise because at present there is a government which he supports.
Maulana Zaid said – there is no God, there is only Allah
Maulana’s criticism of yoga does not end here. Maulana condemned yoga in his post. He was not satisfied with just one post. In the next post, he wrote that there have been no changes in the rules of yoga. There is no difference between then and now. Hindu yoga is against the monotheism of Islam. Muslims should be saved from this practice. After this, in another post, Maulana Zaid wrote that there is no doubt in my heart that the yoga that has been spread in Hinduism is invalid, bad and prohibited and this should not happen in Islamic countries. There is no God, there is only Allah.
The license to give speech was canceled in 2018
Although International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21 June, it was celebrated on 20 June in the Indian High Commission in Maldives. Let us tell you that in 2021, an event was organized at the Gallolu Stadium on International Yoga Day, in which some people tried to create obstacles by entering. According to media reports, many of the protesters are holding high positions in the current government of Maldives. Among them is also an MP from the ruling People’s National Congress. Let us tell you that Maulana Sheikh Zaid has been a topic of discussion for his provocative speeches since the beginning. The Maldives government had also canceled his license to give speeches in 2018.
