The blame for the controversy arising out of rejection of BSP candidate Chhotalal Gangwar’s nomination from Bareilly Lok Sabha seat and nomination of two party candidates from Amla seat has fallen on BSP District President Rajeev Singh and Divisional Coordinator Brahmaswaroop Sagar. On the orders of BSP national president Mayawati, both the office bearers have been expelled from the party. Indiscipline and closeness to the candidate of another party are believed to be the reasons for this.

BSP had earlier declared Abid Ali as its candidate from Amla Lok Sabha seat. Later, Satyaveer Singh, a resident of Shahjahanpur district, filed his nomination claiming himself to be a BSP candidate. Initially, the administration also rejected Abid Ali’s nomination considering Satyaveer to be right, but at the last moment Abid’s nomination was reinstated and Satyaveer’s nomination was rejected. Now Abid Ali has filed a report alleging a deep conspiracy by calling Satyaveer Singh close to SP candidate Neeraj Maurya.

There is talk that Abid Ali and some people of the organization have expressed apprehension against the current party officials of being the mastermind of the incident. Talks like economic agreements are also floating on social media. This is the reason why within just 24 hours the BSP chief has shown both the leaders the way out of the party.
