BSP supremo Mayawati addressed the media on Monday in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. During this time, he spoke of social change and casteist mentality to honor Bahujan society. He said that nowadays more emphasis is being given on the politics of their selfishness on the issues of public interest. This is worrisome.

The BSP supremo said that between Holi and Ramadan festival, activists across the country created the birth anniversary of Kanshi Ram. This not only gave us strength but also reached the people’s views. Said that the government formed under our leadership actually made social changes. Mayawati said that before the formation of our government, people of Bahujan society did not have the right to sit on a chair or bed equal to ordinary people.

Said that in 2007, the BSP government under our leadership in UP gave this right to Bahujan. After this, the people of Bahujan society got to sit on a chair and bed. This was actually social change. People of Bahujan society should remember this.

Will not let the plans of casteist parties succeed

Mayawati said that opposition parties are engaged in weakening the BSP, the only party of Bahujan Samaj. Parties with casteist mentality were also strongly tried to end the views of Dr. Ambedkar. But, Babasaheb and then Kanshi Ram turned such people dashed their desires. Now we too will not allow the plans of such casteist parties to succeed in the interest of Bahujan society.
