Former CM Mayawati has tweeted on X regarding the charge sheet of Hathras Satsang incident that the name of Surajpal Singh alias Bhole Baba is in the charge sheet filed in connection with the death of 121 people, mostly women and children, in the Satsang stampede incident that took place on July 2 in Hathras, UP. There should be no anti-people politics, which proves that such people have the protection of the state government, which is unfair. On July 2, 121 people were killed in a stampede during the satsang of Narayan Sakar Hari Bhole Baba alias Surajpal in Phulrai Mughalgarhi village of Sikandrarau. The Sevadars had stopped the crowd to take out his convoy, during which people kept falling in the race to take his feet. The police arrested the main accused Dev Prakash Madhukar, Megh Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Manju Devi, Manju Yadav, Ram Ladete, Upendra Singh, Sanju Kumar, Ram Prakash Shakya, Durvesh Kumar and Dalveer Singh and sent them to jail.
Among these, interim bail of women Manju Devi and Manju Yadav has been approved by the High Court. The name of Narayan Sakar Hari Bhole Baba alias Surajpal was not in the FIR lodged in connection with this accident. The charge sheet has also been given against the currently arrested accused only.
