The Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP have brought four new proposals each for the municipal budget for the financial year 2023-24. On Tuesday, the mayor provided a copy of the budget to the councillors, but adjourned the house.

All the members have been given a copy of the budget, they should see it, but at 2:17 pm, the mayor gave instructions to adjourn the proceedings of the house.
Here, considering the compulsion of the MCD or the political reason, there is a preparation to pass the budget keeping the rules of the corporation in check. The budget prepared by the Municipal Corporation officials has been directly brought to the House without discussion in the Standing Committee.

BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor said that the budget meeting of the corporation fell victim to the inexperience of the Aam Aadmi Party.
