Kaluram Jat/Dausa: Mehndipur Dham, famous as Balaji Nagari, has also started creating a distinct identity for its delicious dishes. A shop named Mohan Mishthan Bhandar near Balaji Temple has been operating for about 50 years. Well, many sweets here are special. But the most special sweet among these is Peda. Peda is famous in Mehandipur because most of the offerings to Balaji Maharaj are made here. Not only this, devotees coming from far away places get the sweets packed and take them with them. This sweet store is about 50 years old.

The operator of the sweet shop says that now his third generation is doing this work here. In such a situation, we take special care of customer demands and our standards. So that people can get pure and good tasty things here. Peda is our oldest work. Mohan Mishthan Store Director Mohanlal Sharma said that this shop is very old. Almost all the sweets here are made from pure milk. The oldest work in our place is making peda and chhoti boondi laddus. Here we take milk from milkmen and make peda and laddu in a very neat and clean manner. There is no high rate for these sweets. Pure Peda is available for just Rs 380 per kg. Whereas Bundi laddus are sold at the price of Rs 300 per kg.

This wonderful sweet is prepared from milk and ghee.
Mohan Sweets Store Director Mohan Sharma said that not just one or two sweets, many types of sweets are made here, which are almost made in milk and ghee. Here milk sweets are made in milk and that too by procuring fresh milk from nearby villages. Peda and Barfi are prepared by heating the milk and breaking it into mawa. Chhoti Bundi laddus are prepared by preparing Chhoti Bundi with gram flour in ghee and taking it out of the syrup.

Shop staff say that the shop named Mohan Mishthan Bhandar near Balaji Temple has been operating for about 50 years. At his shop, barfi, milk cake, peda, gulab jamun, doda barfi and chhoti boondi laddus are prepared from fresh milk and in pure desi ghee. In which barfi, milk cake and peda are sold at the price of Rs 380 per kg, while Bundi laddus are sold at the price of Rs 300 per kg. Due to the high quality of sweets, they have the highest sales here. Not only this, devotees coming from far away places get the sweets packed and take them with them.
