The actress told that when she had newly arrived in Mumbai, it had become very difficult for her to survive. Rutuja said- ‘When I came to Mumbai, I was short of money. After some time I started getting work, things progressed but after Chhoti Sardarni, all of a sudden there were difficulties in life. I was traveling through financial breakdowns at that time. I was running short of money again. All my savings and earnings were gone. It was a low face for me. I was in so much trouble that I didn’t even have the money to pay for my basic expenses. At that time, your passion only gives you courage and gives you the strength to fight the financial struggle.
He further said that passion is needed to enter this field, so that you can prove it to your parents. So that you do not come here and ask for financial support from them. The actress told that ‘to survive in such times, I had to mortgage my gold earrings. Then some money came in hand. After that I got my next show. But the struggle did not end here. 3 months circle has to be completed to get the payment. In such a situation, the troubles did not reduce.
