Mark Zuckerberg India Election Remark: Facebook’s parent company Meta seems to be in trouble regarding Mark Zuckerberg’s comments related to India’s elections. BJP MP and Chairman of the House Panel on Communications and Information Technology Nishikant Dubey said that summons will be sent to Meta on the grounds of spreading misinformation.
Nishikant Dubey said in a post on X, “Misinformation about a democratic country tarnishes its image. The organization should apologize to the Parliament and its people for this mistake.” At the same time, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in his statement on Twitter that more than 64 crore Indian voters participated in the 2024 general elections.
