According to a report in The Verge, Microsoft’s Chief People Officer Kathleen Hogan has emailed the employees about the new policy. According to the information, apart from unlimited leave, employees will get 10 corporate holidays, leaves of absence, sick and mental health leave. Along with this, time will also be given for jury duty or mourning. In addition, employees who have unutilized leave will be paid for all their leave days.

However, not all people will get the benefit of Unlimited Time of Policy. Only those people can take advantage of this, who are working on salary in the US. At the same time, those who are working on hourly basis or live outside America or are working as freelance, they will not be able to take advantage of this policy. When asked the reason behind this, Microsoft said that all countries have different laws. Because of this, employees living outside the US cannot be included in this policy.
