In the famous Mithila Haat of Mithilanchal, the price of a plate of Marua roti is Rs 449. You can guess from this how good its taste would be.
Sowing in April
The cultivation of marua starts from the first week of April and continues till August. The cultivation starts with planting the seeds and finally it is harvested. The remaining plants are eaten by the cattle. This has two benefits. Grain is available and there is no need to look for fodder for the cattle.
good profit
Islam Jatt said that the price of Marwa is currently 35 to 40 rupees per kg. Locals and company people buy it at this rate. About a dozen people of this village cultivate Marwa along with him. There is no problem in its cultivation. Even an ordinary farmer can do it very easily. Its yield is 40 to 45 kg in each Kattha (20 Dhur). There is a lot of profit in this, if it is cultivated properly then unlimited income can be made from it.
