In Kapashera area, a minor attacked a youth with a beer bottle and broke his eye when he refused to tease him. The victim has been identified as Sajjan Kumar (18). He is undergoing treatment at AIIMS. Based on the statement of the victim, the police registered a case and caught the accused minor, who has been released after arrest.
Sajjan Kumar (18) lives with his family in Samalkha village. He studies in eighth class. His father Mantosh Kumar works as a labourer. Sajjan’s father told that on the night of 21st April, his son was coming towards home after having dinner from the hotel. A minor living in the neighborhood was standing in the street. He often teased the gentleman. Seeing him the accused started teasing him again. When she protested, the accused broke a beer bottle lying nearby and attacked her. The victim tried to stop it with his hand, but a piece of glass from the broken bottle entered his eye.
After which he could not see. He immediately ran home and told them about the incident. He immediately took him to a nearby private hospital. Where the doctor after seeing advised to go to AIIMS. The family members complained about the incident to the police. The police officer said that the accused is a minor. After being caught, he was released under arrest. The police is investigating the case
