A person resident of Bihar province had come to Maa Vindhyavasini Dham along with his companion, a resident of Chitrakoot district of Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday night, both the people reached near Bhairav Kund under Ashtabhuja Chowki after worshiping. There, after drinking alcohol in the night, the licensee started firing in the air with the revolver. It was a coincidence that no one was hit by the bullet.
There was a stir on the hill when several rounds were fired. People informed the police about aerial firing. Vindhyachal police reached the information and arrested both the accused. CO City Parmanand Kushwaha said that near Bhairav Kund, two people in an inebriated state fired in the air. Against whom action is being taken by registering a case. Action will also be taken to cancel the license of the revolver.
