In Nathupur of Jeyanpur Kotwali area of Azamgarh district, the attackers attacked and injured three people including a shopkeeper with sticks, rods and knives over a minor dispute. After the incident, all three injured were taken to the hospital. Where doctors declared one dead, while treatment of two injured is going on.
This is the whole matter
Qayamuddin’s general store is in Nathupur. Someone had eaten and pasted chewing gum on the gate of the shop. When Ahmed reached the shop on Sunday night to buy some items, the chewing gum stuck to his clothes. There was a dispute between the shopkeeper and Ahmed regarding this matter. After this the people accompanying Ahmed attacked the shopkeeper.
Shopkeepers Abdul Kalam (50), Abuzar and Arafat were injured in the incident. After information, the police and others took all three to the district hospital. Where the doctors declared Abdul Kalam dead. The other two are being treated. A case has been registered by the police against four people in this case.
Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Chirag Jain said that after Abdul’s death, the body has been sent for post-mortem. While the other two are undergoing treatment. A case has been registered in the matter on the complaint of the victim party. A police team has been formed to arrest the accused. Arrest will be ensured soon.
