In Chhawla area, miscreants kidnapped a young man from a car by posing as policemen. By threatening to arrest him, the miscreants got thousands of rupees transferred from the young man’s Paytm account to their account and fled. During this, the miscreants also beat up the victim. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case of robbery.
The victim has been identified as Sandeep Kumar (25). He lives with his parents and cousin in New Roshanpura area. After completing his graduation, he is preparing for job exams. In a complaint to the police, he told that on September 19, he left home for some work. He went to Goyala village on his scooter. From there he reached the bus stand going towards Dwarka.
Meanwhile, an Ertiga car stopped near him. There were two people in it. Both of them got down and came to him. They told him that they were policemen from Dwarka Sector 23 police station. They told him that there was a complaint against him in the police station. Both of them asked him to sit in the car. Scared Sandeep sat in the backseat of the car. One of the criminals sat next to him, while the other started driving the car. The criminal sitting next to him threatened him and said that you do wrong things. If you want to save yourself from getting arrested, then take out the money. Sandeep denied having any money. On hearing this, the accused stopped the car and thrashed him.
Sandeep got very scared, he called his cousin and asked for five thousand rupees through Paytm. After the money arrived, the accused scanned the money and transferred it to their account. After that, the miscreants took the victim around and dropped him from the car near Chhawla village. Then both the miscreants went towards Najafgarh. The victim immediately informed the police about the incident. The police got the victim medically examined. The next day, after the victim gave his statement, the police registered a case. The police is trying to identify the miscreants through CCTV camera footage.
