Bhojpur: On Sunday evening, armed criminals shot a young man with bullets in Sarangpur village under Mufassil police station area of Bhojpur district. In this incident, the young man was hit by nine bullets, due to which he died on the spot. After receiving information about the murder, the police of Mufassil police station reached the spot and started investigating the case.

According to the information, the deceased is Mukesh Kumar Singh, 23-year-old son of Shankar Singh, resident of Bhel Dumra village of Mufassil police station area. Mukesh Kumar Bajaj was a finance employee. Ara was working as DCA (connection boy) in Bajaj Finance located in Katira city for about a year. Shankar Singh, father of the deceased, told that there was a fight between his village and the boys of another village a year ago, due to which the boys of the other village had threatened to kill his son, but during that time the matter was ended. He told that when he was at his Bajaj Finance office in Katira, we both had talked on the phone at the same time. Then he said that I am on duty now and will return home in some time. Like every day, on Sunday evening, he was returning home by bike after depositing the collection money at the Bajaj Finance office in Katira, Arrah city. At the same time, three criminals riding a bike who were chasing him near the State Boring in Sarangpur village shot him dead. After committing the incident, the three criminals riding the bike ran away waving weapons.

Regarding the incident, SP Pramod Kumar said that around 6 pm, the local police received information about a person being shot near the Swastik brick kiln, a little before Sarangpur village under Mufassil police station. As soon as the information was received, the police station patrol, police station chief and other senior police officers reached the spot within a short time. There it is known that Mukesh Kumar Singh, father of Shankar Singh, resident of BHEL Dumra, was shot in the head by unknown bike riding criminals.
