Mohammad Yunus Crying: After being elected as the leader of the interim government in Bangladesh, Professor Mohammad Yunus reached the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, on Thursday afternoon. As soon as he reached the airport, Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus made a passionate appeal to save Bangladesh from violence and anarchy. He said that if you trust me, then first of all ensure that no one will be attacked anywhere in the country. This is our first responsibility, that violence should be stopped, he said that I want this promise from you people. He became very emotional while saying this.
According to The Daily Star News, Professor Yunus was welcomed by the Army Chief and the leaders of student organizations at the Dhaka airport. During this, Professor Yunus said that the first thing I want to emphasize is to save Bangladesh from anarchy. He said, ‘First of all, we have to save the country from violence, so that we can move forward on the path shown to us by the students. Bangladesh can be a beautiful country, the country has immense potential. We have to once again move forward unitedly for the country.’
Yunus cried remembering Abu Saeed
Professor Yunus praised the youth and students for leading the movement to overthrow the government, he said that this is the ‘second victory’ of Bangladesh. Yunus said that the freedom that the students and youth have brought, we have to take it to every home. Without this, calling it the second victory will be meaningless. During this, Yunus started crying while paying tribute to Abu Saeed. Abu Saeed was one of the first students to be killed in police firing during the movement. Yunus said, I miss Abu Saeed a lot, his image is in every heart. The courage he showed by standing in front of the police bullets changed the country.
Yunus takes over the reins of Bangladesh
In fact, after the violent agitation of the students, Sheikh Hasina resigned from the post of PM and after this she took refuge in India to save her life. The President dissolved the cabinet after Hasina left. Mohammad Yunus took oath as PM at around 9 pm on Thursday night. Now the reins of the country are in the hands of Professor Yunus. At present, Bangladesh is slowly getting back to normal. Mohammad Yunus, who is leading the interim government of Bangladesh, is a Nobel Prize-winning economist and banker. Mohammad Yunus was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for developing the microcredit market.
