Monsoon will be kind to most parts of Uttar Pradesh on the weekend on Saturday. Due to the monsoon being active in the state for the last few days, there was good rain in most parts and the weather was pleasant. On Friday also, there was heavy rain in many areas of Awadh, Terai and Western UP.
According to senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, on Saturday also, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the southern parts Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli etc. along with the Terai areas Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Bahraich and most of the areas of western UP. At the same time, a warning of thunderstorms with lightning has also been issued in three-fourths of the state.
On Friday, Barabanki received 170 mm of rain, Chitrakoot 100 mm, Fursatganj 45.5 mm, Ayodhya 38.8 mm, Sultanpur 31.4 mm and Varanasi 17.2 mm. Talking about the maximum temperature, Orai had the highest temperature of 35 degrees Celsius on Friday.

The weather department has forecast rains for Saturday in Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, SK Nagar, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Agra, Firozabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Sambhal and surrounding areas.
