Police investigating after theft in Moradabad

Bike riding thieves broke into Imperial Green Apartments, which is considered to be very safe in Moradabad, at around 11:30 am on Thursday. They fled with cash and jewellery worth about Rs 23 lakh from the flats of two bank officers and a doctor in just 25 minutes.
On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and investigated. The police is questioning the security personnel. Satish Dixit, the chief manager of the Gandhi Nagar branch of Indian Bank, lives in flat number 303 of Imperial Green Apartment located on Kanth Road in Civil Lines.
His family lives in Lucknow. Satish Dixit’s wife is a manager in SBI. She is posted in Lucknow. The family of Sudarshan Rana, chief manager of Indian Bank’s Civil Lines branch, lives in flat number 703 of Imperial Green Apartment. Sudarshan Rana’s wife Shweta Bhandari is posted as a manager in Maharashtra Bank.
Like every day, Sudarshan and his wife Shweta locked their flat at around 9:30 am on Thursday morning and left for work. Apart from them, Satish Dixit also locked his flat and left for work at the branch located in Gandhi Nagar. At around 12 noon, Satish Dixit’s maid came to clean the flat.
