Congress State President Ajay Rai wanted to meet the jailed Sambhal District President Vijay Sharma. Congressmen say that this is being done under pressure from the ruling party.
Congress leaders will meet the DM in this matter. Congress District President Aslam Khurshid said that on Saturday he had given a letter to the District Jail Superintendent saying that State President Ajay Rai would come to Moradabad on Monday. Along with the state president, seven people will meet the jailed Sambhal District President Vijay Sharma.
The Jail Superintendent gave permission to meet at 1 pm, but after some time the Jail Superintendent called and refused permission citing the code of conduct. Said that DM has the right to give permission in this matter.
The Congress District President alleged that he was not given permission due to pressure from the ruling party. On Monday, he will meet DM Anuj Singh along with party leaders regarding this matter. The District President of Sambhal is in jail for 15 days. He has been implicated in a land dispute.
State President will come to the house of former minister
